Today (7th of August), the Ministry of European Integration of Kosovo and the EU have signed the new Financial Agreement under the Instrument for Pre-Accession (IPA). This agreement was signed by Mr. Bekim Çollaku, Minister of EU integration on behalf of Kosovo, and by Mr.Jean-Eric Paquet, the Director for Western Balkans in the European Commission, on behalf of EU. Financial support of this program in total is 66.050.000 Euros.The annual action program under IPA for Kosovo will be supported in the following sectors: Democracy and Governance, Rule of Law and Fundamental Human Rights, Energy, Competitiveness and Innovation, Agriculture and Rural Development. Proposed projects supported by this program will begin to be implemented in early 2016.
