TANJUG_maliBRUSSELS – European Commission officials declined on Wednesday to comment on the decision of Kosovo’s Constitutional Court to temporarily suspend the part of the Brussels agreement  that refers to the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO).

“We do not comment on the ongoing legal proceedings,” reporters learnt from Maja Kocijancic, a spokeswoman for the EU’s foreign policy chief.

She reiterated the previous statement that Brussels expected all sides to the dialogue on the normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina to implement the agreement on the ZSO.

Kosovo’s Constitutional Court suspended on Tuesday the agreement on the ZSO, which was signed by Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovo PM Isa Mustafa on August 25. The Court has until January to deliver an opinion as to whether the agreement is in line with the Constitution of Kosovo.
