Mogherini meets with Chair of BiH Presidency Dragan Čović

Dragan Čović and Federika Mogherini

BRUSSELS – Federica Mogherini, High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission, met today in Brussels with Dragan Čović, Chair of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to take stock of the state of play in bilateral relations as well as the challenges ahead.

They discussed impressive progress BiH has made in the context of its Reform Agenda over the past year and further concrete steps that need to be taken for the positive momentum to continue, thus paving the way for the next phase on BiH’s European path. This will be further discussed at the upcoming first EU-BiH Association Council in Brussels on 11 December.

The High Representative and Mr Čović also exchanged views on the reinforced efforts to prevent radicalisation and fight terrorism, crucially important in the wake of the recent attacks in BiH, the EU and beyond.
