BELGRADE – Serbia’s Deputy Parliament Speaker Igor Becic and Head of Serbia’s Permanent Delegation to NATO Dragan Sormaz met with a delegation of the NATO PA Committee on the Civil Dimension of Security in Belgrade on Wednesday.
Becic said that as a militarily neutral state, which did not aspire to NATO membership, Serbia wanted to improve partnership cooperation within available Partnership for Peace mechanisms and to be a reliable, responsible and predictable partner and work together with NATO to contribute to preserving peace and stability in the region.

NATO PA Vice President Lord Jopling thanked the Serbian parliament for organizing the meeting, expressing the hope that the talks would prove constructive and help improve cooperation, the Serbian parliament said in a release.
