TANJUG_maliBELGRADE – A meeting entitled “Western Balkan Countries and Fight against Terrorism” took place on Sunday as part of the regional prayer breakfast.

(Former) Deputy Serbian Parliament Speaker Vladimir Marinković told reporters that it had welcomed guests from the Bundestag, U.S. Congress and Senate, Macedonia, Albania and Montenegro, with the main topic exploring ways to take a more pro-active role in the fight against terrorism.

The fight will certainly take a long time. It should encourage the Serbian parliament and government, regional economic cooperation, in an effort to secure stability, he said.

“This shows that Serbia and the entire region could bring various actors here, that we can sit down and talk and overcome any problem,” Marinković said.
