meta_maliSKOPJE – US Ambassador to the country, Jess Baily, and EU Ambassador, Aivo Orav, have expressed hope that the parties and signatories to the Pržino Agreement will agree on conditions for holding elections.

The two Ambassadors met with representatives from the political parties of the Pržino Agreement and said the meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere.

“We have had meetings in the last few weeks with the parties, and we hoped that in the next few days there would be some progress”, stated Baily.

And the EU Ambassador, Aivo Orav restated that they too had been in close contact with the parties and that negotiations continue and he hopes that soon there will be an agreement.

According to Radmila Serkerinska the Vice-President of the SDSM party, conditions for elections must be provided soon, so they can hold free and fair elections.
