cdm logoWARSAW – Secretary General of NATO Jens Stoltenberg said he is pleased to see so many countries ratifying Montenegro’s Accession Protocol to NATO.

Responding to journalists’ questions during a second day of NATO Summit in Warsaw, he could not say how much longer the ratification should take.

“The last time, the ratification took a year, and I would not speculate if it will be faster in case of Montenegro”, he said.

It is important to pay respect to countries and their parliaments and plans.

Accession Protocol has been ratified by Poland, Iceland, Slovenia, Hungary, Slovakia, Albania and Bulgaria so far.

This year’s Warsaw Summit is very significant for our country because this is the first time we are able to make suggestions and participate in a meeting.
