TIRANA – Opposition leader Lulzim Basha rejected Thursday the statements suggesting that the Democratic Party had made new demands after the governing and opposition parties reached a last-minute deal on the long-awaited justice system reform a day ago, calling on all parties to support the constitutional amendments package and a sweeping judicial reform in parliament.
“Regardless political convictions, yesterday we joined the agreement on the justice system reform. The agreement does not serve the political interests, but Albania. We have reached a deal on a good project and we urge all parties to vote the reform in parliament today,” Basha said in a press statement.
