Vučić, Čović: No substantial obstacles to better relations

BELGRADE – Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic said Thursday after a meeting with Dragan Covic, the Croat member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency, that they had jointly expressed the hope and the confidence that Serbian-Croatian relations would be significantly better in the future and that there were no substantial obstacles to such developments in the Balkans.

“It is true we have differing views on past events and we will hardly change them, but that is exactly why it is important to talk about future relations,” Vucic said, adding this should be achieved through sincere discussions as well as good economic cooperation.

The good cooperation between Serbs and Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina will continue, he noted, adding this was “something good and important in times of not too enviable stability.”
