The sixth Belgrade Security Forum starts today

TANJUG_maliThe sixth Belgrade Security Forum, during which various politicians and experts both from the region and Europe will discuss whether democracy will survive the global disorder, starts today.

The forum, organized by the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence, European Movement in Serbia and the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy, will be held from 12th till 14th of October and will cover many relevant topics regarding the challenges that Europe, the Western Balkans region and Serbia are currently facing, such as the refugee crisis, Brexit, the EU enlargement process, the EU Global Strategy on foreign and security policy and many more.

President of the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence, Sonja Licht, told Tanjug that during those three days in Belgrade, through confronted views, a lot of answers and ideas on how to overcome these problems will be heard.

“As usual, we expect the Belgrade Security Forum to point out, once again, that we here think not only about the topics important for our little circle in the Balkans, but also for the entire humanity”, said Licht.
