EU ministers agree on EC recommendation for Albania

ata_maliTIRANA – Foreign Ministers of the member states of the European Union agreed on the recommendation of the European Commission to open accession talks with Albania on Tuesday.

According to the Voice of America, which reported it has seen the decision of EU ministers, “the EU Council sees the Commission’s recommendation to open the accession talks with Albania in a positive light, given that the country makes reliable and tangible progress in implementing the judicial reform and the Law on the transitional re-evaluation of Judges and Prosecutors in particular”.
