BiH Council of Ministers: To modernise public administration and upgrade its services to citizens

The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina supports the continuation of activities on modernisation and upgrading of effectiveness of public administration institutions, aimed at the improvement of services provided t citizens by the public administration.

This was concluded at the 91st session, which adopted Information of the Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office on activities on drafting of an Operative Plan for introduction of quality management in the BiH Institutions in 2016-2018.

The Council of Ministers of BiH urged, i.e. recommended to the BIH Institutions to consider the introduction of proposed quality management models (Common Assessment Framework – CAF and systems based on ISO 9001 standard).

A green light was given for the continuation of of process of introduction of quality management in the BiH Institutions, and cooperation was encouraged with the European Resource Centre for CAF and inclusion into activities of work structures for quality management within the European Union Public Administration Network (EUPAN).
