Xhafaj: Judicial Reform package bills approved

ata_maliTIRANA – The chairman of the ad hoc Parliamentary Committee on the Judicial System Reform of the Parliament of Albania, Fatmir Xhafaj said Thursday that the package bills in the frame of completion of the judicial reform were approved by the Committee, ATA reports.

“The last law of the package was approved by qualified majority thus all the laws on this package such as the law on civil procedure code, criminal code, administrative code, the law “On the Ministry of Justice” etc., shall pass to the Parliament for approval in the coming week,” said Xhafaj.

He considered the approval of these bills as very positive and of great importance to the further process and reform of the justice system, referring as well to the innovations that they bring.
