PODGORICA – “Last night’s ratification of the Protocol on Montenegro’s Accession to NATO in the US Senate and a certain ratification in the Senate of Spain create conditions to formally complete the process of ratification in the Parliament of Montenegro,” said Montenegrin Minister of Defence Predrag Bošković after the US Senate ratified the Protocol on Montenegro’s Accession to NATO.

“This way, Montenegro fulfills its most important foreign policy priority – joining the North Atlantic Alliance, completing one of the very important processes when it comes to security and stability in the Western Balkans,” he said in a statement.
