Albanian Parliament passes 7 laws on justice system

ata_maliTIRANA – The Albanian leftist majority confirmed on Thursday in parliament the necessary number of votes for the passage of 7 draft laws with a qualified majority, part of the 27 law package that regulates the functioning of the justice institutions, ATA reports.


With the same outcome, 88 votes, the MPs approved 7 acts, mainly amendments to law on protection of testimonies and justice collaborators, amendments to Code of Criminal Procedure, Criminal Code, Code of Juvenile Justice, amendments to Code of Civil Procedure, bill on organization and functioning of administrative courts as well as on adjudication of administrative disputes , and the bill on organization and functioning of Justice Ministry.
The 7 acts are at the core of a functioning system and dispensing justice to the citizens.
