BELGRADE – Serbia’s European Integration Minister Jadranka Joksimovic said Friday a non-paper handed to ambassadors of EU member states contained no demands, but Serbia’s positions and expectations, Tanjug reports.
When asked by Tanjug to confirm media reports that Belgrade had made four demands to Brussels, Joksimovic responded:
“The paper handed out to the ambassadors of EU member states in the form of a non-paper (an unofficial document) contains no demands to Brussels, but a snapshot of Serbia’s positions regarding developments in the region, and Serbia’s expectations that the EU step up further its engagement on stabilising the region,” she explained.
The paper also addresses statements and activities by various politicians in the region that have escalated tensions over the past months, she also said.
