BELGRADE – Serbian Acting Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić said Sunday that the opening of new chapters in the negotiations with the European Union is a good sign, but expressed a certain dose of dissatisfaction due to the fact that there are not more chapters opened, Serbian Government stated.

Dačić told reporters that Serbia is prepared to open three or four more chapters, but added that it is still positive that there is a certain pace of opening.

He added that there are no some special conditions for two new chapters, but added that there is the mechanism established at the beginning, which is connected to Kosovo-Metohija, and that a report on the progress in the dialogue is always required before chapter opening.

That is always the theme, Dačić said, reiterating that Serbia will do everything that depends on it, but the decision is to be made by the EU Member States.
