Rama meets Macron in Trieste: Encouraging Summit on the region’s EU progress

TIRANA – Prime Minister Edi Rama met with the President of France, Emanuel Macron during the Western Balkans Summit 2017 held in Trieste on 12 July.

Rama posted a video on Facebook featuring images of the meeting with the French President while captioned “In Trieste with President Emanuel Macron, to the Europe we want, our region as its part and Albania’s path to EU, devising reforms and negotiation terms with European Union.”

PM Rama underlines that Trieste Summit 2017 was quite encouraging to the region and Albania.

“An encouraging Summit on the regions’ European progress including Albania, as the first in the list of financially supported projects,” the Premier writes.
