Kosovo, Albania discuss cooperation in education

PRISTINA – Kosovo’s Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Arsim Bajrami, and the visiting Albanian Minister of Education and Sports Mirela Karabina, discussed aspects of cooperation between the two countries in the field of education.

Kosovo’s Education Minister said that he and his Albanian counterpart had agreed on integration of the education system and steps towards developing a more unified national education system based on the traditional national values, as well as on the European and contemporary education trends.

“Kosovo and Albania have to make education a top national priority, because providing quality education is of tremendous importance to the youth of both countries, taking into consideration that both Albania and Kosovo have a young and intelligent population,” Bajrami said.

Albanian Education and Sports Minister Mirela Karabina expressed hope the governments of both countries will materialize cooperation in the coming years.
