Kosovo’s calling code +383 comes into force in 2018

Last year, the parties agreed on a migration period of two years during which a dual numbering approach is used to allow customers of the new company to continue using their existing numbers in Kosovo.

Existing calling codes will stop working in June 2018, after which only the calling code +383 will be in use.

Also, countries agreed on mobile telephony and on the frequency bands and spectrums to be allocated to the Serbian state-owned company, MTS, which has been allowed to continue to provide its present level of coverage to its customers.
