Albanian President Meta visits Medveđa

TIRANA – President of Albania Ilir Meta visited Medvegja municipality today.

At the border crossing point of Mutivoda, President Meta was received by the chair of coordinating troupe for Presheva, Bujanovac and Medveđa, Zoran Stanković, the mayor of Medveđa municipality, Nebojša Arsić, the Vice mayor of Medveđa, Leme Xhema, Albanian members of this city council as well as dozens of Albanians.

During the reception hosted by Albanians and local representatives in his honour, President Meta said he was pleased to pay a visit and that politicians should pay more attention to Albanians in these areas, adding that he hopes he will contribute in this regard.

“From Medveđa, I would like to highlight that the future of our people and entire region lies in the EU and this can be achieved through close cooperation with each other,” President Meta said.
