EP to discuss media situation in Serbia and Western Balkans

BRUSSELS – The European Parliament will hold a session on the media situation in Serbia and other Western Balkan countries at the beginning of next week, organized by the informal group “Friends of Serbia”.

On that occasion, on Tuesday, December 5, an analysis of the “Quarterly Mediameter” on the topic of the development of print media in Serbia will be presented, after which the participants of the debate will be able to exchange views with the team of this research project and other participants in the field of media.

Representatives of the European Parliament, the European Commission and EU countries working in the Western Balkans region were invited to the meeting in Brussels, hosted by the representatives of the Friends of Serbia group, Franc Bogovič and Emilian Pavel.
