BRUSSELS – Prime Ministers of the Western Balkans will have an informal meeting with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Federica Mogherini tomorrow in Brussels.

The focus of the third meeting, held at the initiative of Mogherini, will be on the current developments in the region, as well as the European perspective for the Western Balkan countries in 2018.

They will also discuss at the meeting the Western Balkans Strategy, which the European Commission will announce in February, and will give assessments and guidelines for the European integration of the countries in the region.

“The European Union is committed to strengthening the engagement of the countries of the region in order to ensure that the six Western Balkan countries take the necessary steps to make irreversible progress towards the Union”, said the EU statement.
