PODGORICA – The recent opening of additional two negotiating chapters confirmed that individual results dictate the dynamics of the negotiation process and that the EU values the achievements of each state individually, it was said at the meeting of Minister of the European Affairs of Montenegro Aleksandar Andrija Pejović and the members of the European Parliament.

Chairman and members of the EU-Montenegro Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee (SAPC), David Martin, Charles Tannock, Jan Olbrycht, Jozo Radoš, Alojz Peterle and Tomas Waitz met with Pejović.

The MEPs praised the evident progress in the negotiations, pointing out that the results of the reforms implemented are the best indicator of Montenegro’s commitment to complete the process of accession, through the quality application of European standards and values, which ultimately leads to a better life for all Montenegrin citizens.
