Mogherini to meet with Vučić in Belgrade today

BRUSSELS – EU foreign policy and security chief Federica Mogherini and Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić will meet in Belgrade late Tuesday, Tanjug learns in Brussels.

Mogherini, who is travelling to Belgrade will meet with Vučić at 6 pm.

European Commission spokesperson Maja Kocijančič confirmed Mogherini would go to the Serbian capital later in the day to discuss with Vučić “the future of the EU-facilitated dialogue” between Belgrade and Pristina.

Mogherini is set to visit Belgrade a day after the arrest of the head of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija, Marko Đurić.

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Đurić left the issue of the resumption of the dialogue open, adding that a decision on this was up to Vučić.
