TIRANA – European Commission Director for Western Balkans Genoveva Ruiz Calavera met with representatives of opposition parties of Albania to exchange views on the political situation in the country ahead of 2019 Commission Annual Report. Earlier, she opened the EU-funded National Resource Centre for Civil Society. “No society is strong and resilient unless there is active participation of citizens. Civil Society Organisations have a key role to play in the EU integration of Albania”, says Ruiz.
