BRUSSELS – I was always in favour of having a constructive dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo and I am unhappy that this process is not moving in the right direction, said the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker on Tuesday.

On the question whether it is possible that this Commission moves forward the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue Juncker explained that he urges Serbia and Kosovo to continue the dialogue and to be more comprehensive.

When it comes to the tariffs imposed by Kosovo on the goods coming from Serbia, Juncker said this issue should be solved and the dialogue should continue for both countries to have the European perspective.

“If this dispute between Serbia and Kosovo is not resolved there will be no chance or whatsoever for Serbia and Kosovo to become members of the EU. We do not want to import instability in the Union, we want to export stability,” pointed out Juncker.
