PRISTINA – Kosovo’s early parliamentary elections will take place on October 6, said today Hashim Thaçi, President of Kosovo, reports Koha. The signed decision states that “based on constitutional and legal responsibilities, President Thaçi has decided to hold early elections for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo on October 6. “Kosovo’s Central Election Commission has been instructed to take all necessary steps to organise elections for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, in accordance with this decision and the legislation in force,” states Thaçi’s decision issued earlier today that dissolved the Kosovo Assembly.
