Hearing of László Trócsányi in European Parliament on 1 October

STRASBOURG – European Parliament will hold a hearing of the candidate for European Neighbourhood and Enlargement László Trócsányi on 1 October at 18.30, European Western Balkans finds out from EP. The hearing of the Commissioner-designate will be held in the Foreign Affairs Committee (AFET), with many predicting a not very smooth procedure at best. Mr Trócsányi was nominated by the government of Hungary, in which he served as the Justice Minister from 2014 to 2018. European Parliament will vote for the new European Commission as a whole on 23 October.
