A delegation of French and German officials has arrived in Kosovo on an urgent mission to block any initiatives aimed at abolishing the special war crimes court. The delegation held meetings with Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi and PM Ramush Haradinaj to warn them that the consequences of abolishing the court would be huge, Pristina’s Koha ditore daily reported. The German embassy in Pristina said in a statement that recent attempts to abrogate a law on the special court were the reason for the visit, the paper reported.
