KOPAONIK – Germany is doing everything to help Serbia open Chapters 23 and 24 in accession negotiations with the EU in the first half of 2016, Dittmann said Wednesday.

We are very close to opening two important chapters – 23 and 24 –  and Germany is doing everything to see them opened in the first half of this year, Dittmann told Tanjug, expressing the hope and expectation that the reform processes in Serbia would continue.

We hope seeing the reform process in Serbia continued immediately after the elections, Dittmann said.

Dittmann said he was under the impression that there was a broad consensus in Serbia about EU accession, adding that Germany would support Serbia on the road to the EU as a fair and responsible partner, helping its reform efforts.
