TANJUG_maliOBRENOVAC – The European Commission’s Director General for Enlargement Christian Danielsson toured on Friday the Nikola Tesla power plant complex in Obrenovac and underscored on the occasion the EU’s strong support for the modernisation of Serbia, Serbian new agency Tanjug reports.
With the opening of another two chapters in the EU accession process on Monday, Serbia will make further steps forward, Danielsson said.

The upgrade of power facilities, particularly the Nikola Tesla A thermal power plant, is key for Serbia, the director general added.

The EU delegation toured the complex in the company of Serbian Energy Minister Aleksandar Antić.
