• More than 15.500 domestic and 637 foreign observers accredited

A total of 15.539 domestic observers have been accredited to monitor Serbia’s parliamentary election, roughly three times the 5.112 accredited in 2023. Although several observation organisations are close to the ruling party, the vast majority of domestic observers are independent.

Of the 637 accredited foreign observers, 410 belong to missions from ODIHR, the OSCE, the Council of Europe and the European Parliament. Another 31 represent the parliaments and electoral commissions of Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Georgia, while 10 represent organisations affiliated with the US Republican Party. Around 10 observers come from organisations close to European right-wing and populist parties, including Fidesz, ANO, SMER and Lega, with the remaining observers representing other international organisations and diplomatic missions in Serbia.
