BELGRADE – The joint EU-Serbia Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee have held their fourth meeting at the European Parliament headquarters in Strasbourg.
The Serbian parliament said in a release on Thursday that the two-day meeting saw the parliamentarians exchanging their opinions concerning accession negotiations and relations between the EU and Serbia.
The MPs also discussed the dialogue on the normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina, the impact of the refugee crisis on Serbia and the EU, harmonization of foreign and security policies, employment strategies, including reduction of the number of workers in the public sector, and protection of fundamental rights and freedoms, including media freedoms and minority rights.
The meeting ended in adopting a declaration and recommendations.
