PARIS – EU Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn announced in Paris Monday that Croatia had consented to the opening of chapters 23 and 24 in Serbia’s EU accession talks.
“Paris-Balkans 2016 delivers. Croatia confirms OK of opening accession chapters 23/24 with Serbia. European perspective is real!” Hahn posted on his Twitter account.
“Good bilateral meeting with Serbian PM in good mood regarding Serbia’s European future!” Hahn also tweeted earlier on after a meeting with Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic on the fringes of Monday’s conference of Western Balkan and EU leaders in Paris.
