WARSAW – American President Barack Obama said today in Warsaw that Montenegro’s participation on this Summit is a proof that the doors of the Alliance are open for countries who fulfill USA’s standards.
He spoke at the press conference and said that Europe would have USA’s support.
He invited German Chancellor Angela Merkel to ensure close relations between Britain and EU, after Britain leaves the Union.
At the second day of Warsaw Summit, NATO passed Political declaration, umbrella political document of the Alliance, that welcomes Montenegro as a new member.
Secretary General of NATO Jens Stoltenberg said that he is happy to see so many countries who have ratified Montenegro’s Accession Protocol.
