SKOPJE – The President of the state, Gjorge Ivanov, tomorrow at 9 o’clock will be meeting with the European Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn, announced Ivanov’s cabinet, according to Meta news agency. The meeting will be held at the presidential residence on Vodno.
The EU Commissioner arrived in Skopje on Wednesday, and today he participated at the sixth meeting of the ministers of the countries from the Western Balkans, which agenda centered around regional cooperation in the area of energetics, Meta reported.
Before the conference, he had a meeting with the outgoing interim Prime Minister, Emil Dimitriev, and this afternoon he will be meeting with the party leaders of the political parties that won seats in Parliament during the elections last year.
After the conference was over, and before the meetings with the political leaders, Hahn announced that he came to hear the opinions of the party leaders, but not to give directions and recommendations on what to decide, within the context of the current issues regarding the formation of the new government.
