ata_maliTIRANA – After the approval of resolution on Albania, the EP’s standing rapporteur on Albania Knut Fleckenstein will start on Monday a three-day official visit to Tirana, ATA news agency reported.

The meetings of Fleckenstein with Albanian politicians coincide with the protest of the oppositional DP on “Dëshmorët e Kombit” boulevard in front of the govt. building, the outset of justice reform, as well as the preparations for June 18 parliamentary elections.

Fleckenstein has pointed out that if justice reforms gets well underway, Brussels will follow through with the opening of accession negotiations with Albania.
