TANJUG_maliBELGRADE – Serbian PM Aleksandar Vučić on Wednesday met with Luxembourg’s FM Jean Asselborn to discuss bilateral relations, European integration and the situation in the region, Tanjug reports.
Vučić said peace and stability in the Western Balkans were among Serbia’s foreign policy priorities, while Asselborn backed Serbia’s constructive policy due to its crucial impact on regional cooperation, the Serbian government press office said in a statement.

They agreed there was a good foundation for intensifying bilateral relations.

Vučić thanked Asselborn for Luxembourg’s active support for Serbia’s European integration and the understanding shown in the country’s EU talks.

They also agreed Serbia and Luxembourg can improve their economic cooperation, in particular following the coming into force of an agreement on avoidance of double taxation.
