BERLIN – German Chancellor Angela Merkel sent her congratulations to Zoran Zaev Friday on his election as Prime Minister and on the occasion of forming the new Macedonian Government, Meta reports.
“I cordially congratulate you on your election as Prime Minister. The Federal Government firmly supports the objective of your country becoming closer to the European Union and NATO. The Federal Republic of Germany will gladly support you in your efforts”, said Merkel in her greeting.
“I am personally happy that we will be introduced at the next conference on the Western Balkans on July 12 in Trieste”, added the German Chancellor in her greeting to Zaev.
