Albania’s political leaders to meet again at President’s office

ata_maliTIRANA – Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and main opposition Democratic Party leader Lulzim Basha are set to meet again at 7 p.m. on Thursday after a three-hour meeting at the President’s office a day ago failed to produce any agreement that would end the  political deadlock in the country, ATA reports.

“Upon an invitation from the President of the Republic, a second meeting between the country’s Prime Minister and opposition leader Lulzim Basha will take place at 7 p.m. today at the office of the President of the Republic,” President’s office said.

This is the second meeting of the leaders of two main parties who will seek to reach an agreement and defuse political crisis in the country.
