European Commissioner Stylianides to visit Serbia on Friday

TANJUG_maliBELGRADE – European Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management Christos Stylianides will pay a visit to Serbia on Friday, January 15, and meet with Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, the EU Office in Serbia has announced.
Stylianides will also meet with Minister of Labour, Employment and Veteran and Social Affairs Aleksandar Vulin and Commissioner for Refugees and Migration Vladimir Cucic.

With Vulin and Cucic, Stylianides will visit the Adasevci reception and transit centre and open an expanded children’s corner, set up by UNICEF and the EU.

He will also meet with representatives of EU partner organisations aiding migrants and refugees.

Ahead of the visit to Belgrade, Stylianides said that Serbia is a key partner in managing the current refugee crisis across Europe.
