PRISTINA – Dozens of citizens gathered today in front of the European Union Rule of Law Mission (EULEX) building in the industrial zone of Pristina after the verdict was declared against four former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, and some of the protesters threw stones and bottles at the mission building, in front of which the reinforced Kosovo police forces were deployed, media outlets reported.
The citizens arrived on foot from the center of Pristina to the EULEX building, where the reinforced forces of the Kosovo police were deployed.
Koha ditore reported that part of the protesters started throwing stones in the direction of the mission building, and CNA that some protesters also threw bottles, while they were separated from the entrance of the facility by a police cordon.
Kosovo police have not yet commented on the incidents in front of EULEX building.
