Another recommendation for visa liberalization of Kosovo citizens fulfilled

PRISHTINA – Ministry of European Integration, in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Administration, held a press conference today on the occasion of signing the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Public Administration, Mr. Mahir Yagcilar and Ombudsperson Mr.Hilmi Jashari, regarding the provision of workspaces for the Ombudsperson Institution.

On this occasion, the parties considered that this memorandum positively contributes to the functioning of the Ombudsperson’s Institution. Another condition for visa liberalization has been fulfilled with the signing of this memorandum, which proves the commitment of the Republic of Kosovo on the issue of protecting and promoting human rights.

By means of this memorandum, parties agreed that existing spaces in the building of the former Bank of Ljubljana would be provided for accommodation of the institution of the Ombudsperson.

Following the signing ceremony, Minister of MPA, Mr. Mahir Yagcilar, EU Special Representative in Kosovo, Mr. Samuel Zbogar, the Ombudsperson Mr. Jashari and Deputy Minister of European Integration Ramadan Ilazi addressed the media with a speech.
