Macedonian President Ivanov expects EU ambassadors to help with national reconciliation

meta_maliSKOPJE – Today, President Gjorgi Ivanov met with ambassadors of member states of the European Union in Macedonia, where they discussed Macedonia’s membership in the EU and the refugee crisis.

The President’s Cabinet stated that Ivanov expressed his expectations, that immediately after the parliamentary elections, the EU and the member states will help the European agenda in a concrete way and make the implementation of the necessary reforms a priority and help with the national reconciliation, which he considers necessary.

Ivanov’s Cabinet said that the European ambassadors welcomed President Ivanov’s calls for national reconciliation and agreed that reconciliation is the most urgent of all processes in Macedonia.
