Press release: Call to civil society organizations in BiH- informative workshop #upitnikEK

SARAJEVO – Directorate for European Integration invites civil society organizations to attend the workshop at which the European Commission Questionnaire will be presented. The workshop will be held on 21 December 2016 in the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, hall 2 / I, beginning at 10:00.

Functional dialogue with representatives of civil society and citizen participation in the creation and implementation of public policies is an important element of the process of European integration. The participation of civil society in the accession process contributes to a better understanding of the necessary reforms in BiH, and it is therefore necessary that, in addition to the relevant institutions that will participate in the process of responding to the European Commission, civil society organizations  are also involved in this important task .

The survey will, among other things, to be published on portals eKonsultacije of the Ministry of Justice and the Directorate for European Integration.

Bosnia and Herzegovina was presented to the EC Questionnaire 9 December and is an official document of the EU assesses the readiness of BiH to begin the accession process, and insight into the degree of realized reforms and harmonization of domestic legislation with the EU legislation on all chapters of the acquis. Delivery of EC questionnaire preceded the filing of the application for membership of BiH in the EU in February 2016. More on EC Questionnaire can be at: https://goo.gl/Cs02em.

The right to participate in the information workshop presenting the EC questionnaire have all the civil society organizations in BiH.
