TANJUG_maliBELGRADE – Brussels has been pointing out to all EU member states that Serbia becoming a part of the European family is very important as it sees the country as a pillar of stability in the Balkans, Angelina Eichhorst, Director for Western Europe, Western Balkans and Turkey in the European External Action Service, said at a meeting with Serbian Justice Minister Nela Kuburović on Friday, Tanjug reports.
A continuation of the Brussels talks is very significant for regional stability and normalisation of Belgrade-Pristina relations, she noted, expressing the hope the talks would be continued soon, while Kuburović stressed that Serbia had always insisted on peace and good-neighbourly relations in the region.

Eichhorst highlighted the significance of Serbia fulfilling the benchmarks from action plans for Chapters 23 and 24 (judiciary and police) in the accession talks.
