Serbian parliament elects new war crimes prosecutor

TANJUG_maliBELGRADE – The Serbian parliament has elected a new war crimes prosecutor and approved two loan agreements, Tanjug reports.
Voting on a total of 44 items on the agenda on Monday, the parliament elected Snežana Stanojković as chief prosecutor at the Office of the Prosecutor for War Crimes.

The proposal was backed by 153 of 169 MPs attending – two voted against, while 14 took no part in the vote.
