Čović: Candidate status for the EU at the beginning of the next year

TRAVNIK – BiH Presidency Chairman Dragan Čović said that BiH could expect by the end of this year the activation of the Membership Action Plan (MAP) in NATO and the candidate status for the EU membership by the beginning of the following year, as N1 reports.

He added that the political stability of the country of utmost importance both for the further development of the country and its Euro-Atlantic integration.

We have been discussing elections for a long time, and due to all those talks, we have lost a sense of the real problems of our residents, in the region as well as throughout BiH, Covic said to the reporters.
