Delawie calls Kosovo to ratify demarcation agreement

In a tweet on Monday, USA ambassador to Kosovo Greg Delawie said that Kosovo MPs should should addopt the demarcation agreement, which is one of the last criteria for Kosovo to get visa liberalisation with the EU. “Lots of hard work across party lines has brought the Border Demarcation Agreement with Montenegro closer than ever to ratification. MPs – it’s time to bring it across the finish line this week,” Delawie wrote on Twitter. The Parliament has failed three times in a row to ratify the demarcation due to lack of votes after opposition parties keep insisting that current version of the deal is wrong. The session on ratification has been postponed to 9 March.
